ByeBye Monster is an action game with touches of roguelikes where you fight through screens full of enemies. Your only objective is to survive by killing everyone else, trying to get as far as you can. This is a colorful clone of the fantastic game Archero where each round is different from the last.
Learning how to play ByeBye Monster is very simple. Basically, your character attacks automatically. All you have to do is focus on moving your character with the virtual D-pad, killing all the enemies in your field of vision. The interesting part is that, just like in Archero, you have to stop moving before you can attack. So it's important to find a good angle for killing your enemies before they kill you.
Playing ByeBye Monster is a completely randomized experience, from the screens to your character's skills. When you get a certain number of coins, you can level up and choose between three different abilities, making it even more difficult to play the same game twice.
Although ByeBye Monster copies Archero pretty shamelessly, it has a few unique elements: for example, some levels are composed of various screens to make it harder to find the exit. It's nothing crazy, but the effort is appreciated.
ByeBye Monster is a great action game you'll get the hang of as you play. It's not as good as Archero, but it's an entertaining roguelite that will keep you entertained for a few hours.
